This is a good example of why I love working in glass - unfired, this glass, called "petrified wood," is clear with drips of brown. Apply heat, and it reacts with the robin's egg blue base glass, and the clear turns this gorgeous shade of burnt red, and you get the amazing cascades of blue and vanilla and caramel. The tray is 7"x12". See the matching channel plate for a beautiful set.
